In this episode, Dr. Kathryn Bingham introduces Dr. Juana Bordas, president of Mestiza Leadership International and author of the newly updated The Power of Latino Leadership. Bordas shares her immigrant experience and how it has influenced her leadership. She talks about her journey in getting an education, marching to integrate the University of Florida, and seeing changes in civil rights. Bordas has worked with women and started women's centers and leadership programs. She encourages people to look back on their childhood experiences to learn and grow in leadership. Her book is filled with stories and experiences, not only her own but those of others.
