Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (ALAS)

We love ALAS - The Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents which increases Latino leadership representation in schools across the nation. I was honored to speak to the Florida and Nevada chapters highlighting Latino leadership and culture.

Latinos now make up 14.5% of superintendents. Latino children in PK–12 schools are 28 percent. ALAS has been key in preparing Latinos to lead our schools!
